Thanksgiving Hours
Hello folks! I wanted to let everyone know that even I, the workaholic, will be taking some time off this week to celebrate Thanksgiving with the people I love. I will not be available either Thursday, November 27th or Friday, the 28th but will be back to regular business hours beginning again on Monday, December 1st. As much as it pains me, I will not have access to e-mail and my family has made me promise to leave my phone off too. Thank goodness it's only for a couple days, right? I wish everyone a safe and happy Thanksgiving.

Sneak Peek for the R Family
If I could bottle them up, I could live forever. This family was awesome! Most of the time kids aren't really all that into having their pictures taken, but these three were arguing over who would go first! Not only that, but their smiles were so genuine and you can see the honest happiness in their eyes. Such a wonderful family and I loved them to pieces! I am so lucky to call some truly terrific families my clients. Enjoy your preview, Sam & Amanda...
Timeless, this one will be on my new site for sure!

Parker is already 9 months old!
I can't believe it, Mr. Parker is only three short months away from his first birthday. He is just the cutest, cuddliest thing ever and though he wasn't in the mood for pics at first, my secret weapon, M, certainly helped him change his mind. I know I say it all the time, but they all just love her to pieces! We went with a winter and Christmas theme tonight if it's not obvious and we were sure not to forget his Longhorn attire! Enjoy your preview, Vanessa!
Sneak Peek for the S Family
Ok, you know that a session is going to be spectacular when dad comes in rolling a suitcase full of wardrobe changes...whooot! Jenni totally got me when I told her not to fear color and matched her family, not once but twice. So this was today's combo session and if you don't know what that is, then let this session be your guide. Make no mistake, it is a marathon session, but oh my goodness, I always have a blast getting to know my clients this way and in the end, some great images are born. It was wonderful to meet you all and I hope you had as much fun as I did!

Sneak peek for the T family
This holiday season has been full of beautiful families and this family was the latest in that trend! Such wonderful people with gorgeous children, talk about hitting the genetic jackpot...wow! Sometimes 18 month-olds can be challenging, but this little man was a delight from start to finish! I just can't get enough of evening light and this is one of my absolute favorite places to capture it.

Another beautiful bride
I owe another huge thank you to Ashtonwoods homes for the use of their gorgeous model home, the Tiffany located in the incredible burgeoning gated community of Treeline. I am being completely honest when I say that when we have discussed building a new home, Treeline is our top choice. Their sales people are so accommodating and friendly and the homes and lots simply perfect. Of course, Marissa totally increased the face value of these homes in her stunning gown and genuine playfulness. I have no doubt that Brad will be complete gobsmacked when he sees his future wife coming up the aisle to meet him looking like this. Lucky me, I will be there to see it and hopefully capture it through my lens! So meet Marissa, one of my very lovely December brides...

Sneak Peek for Carrie & Courtney
More returning clients! These good lookin boys came back for new pictures for their Gigi this year and I just get the biggest kick out of them. Mr. G always makes me laugh with all his expressions and his terrific six year old sense of humor and Mr. S is just so serious and composed until you get him to relax and then he's all smiles! Moms, you'd better get yourselves a big stick to fight off all those girls that will be flocking to your doors. Sorry this "peek" is so huge, I couldn't decide which were my favorites!
Sneak Peek for the A Family
Boy, who knew this Saturday morning would be so dern cold and windy? Though the conditions weren't exactly ideal, this family was wonderfully good natured about the runny noses and shivers that came along with the cooler temperatures! I was so excited to get to use my "new" chair too. Enjoy your preview!

Rockin Bride
Hold on your socks boys and girls because Angela is gonna blow you away. We had the most amazing session at the most beautiful house I have ever been in courtesy of Ashtonwoods homes. This plan was called the Tiffany and I fell in LOVE! No matter where you are in the nation, look them up! Now on to Angela, is this dress a killer or what? Shawn is one lucky, lucky fiddler to be marrying this stunning woman...

Sneak Peek Hailey & Kayla
I love returning clients! I enjoy so much seeing how their kids have changed in just a few short months. This little cutie makes me giggle every time she's here. She likes to pretend she doesn't want her picture taken, but I know better. When I think of Hailey, the song, "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun" by Cindy Lauper is like a soundtrack playing in my mind. She is 100% girlie girl and that smile totally gives it away. Her big sister, Kayla is always such a wonderful help with a great attitude and a sweet heart. The girls even stayed for a while after we were finished up to bounce around and dance with my girls while they all wore pettiskirts, now where else would you be able to do that? I loved seeing you ladies again and here's your sneak peek!!

Sneak Peek x 2
Ok so this will be a huge peek since it is technically from two sessions. I photographed these families this evening and everyone was so well behaved! The mosquitos were horrible (when aren't they?) but the weather was nice. And props to the dads who were sooooo easy going and relaxed which is rare! Thanks really to all of you who made this as painless as possible and even threw in a little good humor! Enjoy your previews ladies!

Another T Family
Some of my readers will probably recognize the little cutie in this post as one of my baby planners. He really makes my job so easy. This session was for their holiday cards and I gotta say, I absolutely loved the Elmer Fudd hat! His mom always brings great clothing choices. I brought M along with me again and again she worked her magic making him smile over and over again. Where would I be without her? Thanks again, Nikki and here's your peek!
Sneak Peek for the V family
This beautiful family came to see me this morning and brought their dogs, Cassie & Cooper and I have to say I have never seen such incredibly well behaved dogs. They sat nice and proper the entire time we shot and even when we went into the other room without them to do Christmas pj pics. I should probably mention that their little guy stole my daughter's heart and she was more than happy to play blocks or read or blow bubbles for him since having his picture taken was not real high on his list of priorities. Little sister was a doll baby who loved the warm coziness of my secret weapon and was none too happy with me when it was taken away. Enjoy your preview, Cara!

Sneak Peek Amy & Zac
Let me start by saying that these are my favorite images of yesterday's session and they may not necessarily be those of my bride, Amy. Though I didn't post the one she specifically that she didn't like (even though I loved it, she is the client here). Yesterday was the re-shoot of an engagement back in the summer when mother nature wasn't being real cooperative with all the lightning and whatnot. We wanted to wait for cooler weather for a warmer wardrobe which would have been fine last weekend, but being true to Houston, this weekend saw highs in the 80's. Oh well, I still think they came out fabulously if I do say so myself. The bridge was awesome and I thoroughly enjoyed my tacos, thanks Fallon and enjoy your preview, Amy!

Sneak Peek for the M Family
I had the pleasure of photographing this lovely family this evening. All had beautiful blue or hazel eyes and were just so easy going and agreeable. It was so hard to decide which images I wanted to preview so there are more than usual. This season has been ripe with terrific families and I am not even at the half way mark yet! Enjoy your preview, Susan!
