Thanksgiving Hours

Hello folks! I wanted to let everyone know that even I, the workaholic, will be taking some time off this week to celebrate Thanksgiving with the people I love. I will not be available either Thursday, November 27th or Friday, the 28th but will be back to regular business hours beginning again on Monday, December 1st. As much as it pains me, I will not have access to e-mail and my family has made me promise to leave my phone off too. Thank goodness it's only for a couple days, right? I wish everyone a safe and happy Thanksgiving.

Sneak Peek for the R Family

If I could bottle them up, I could live forever. This family was awesome! Most of the time kids aren't really all that into having their pictures taken, but these three were arguing over who would go first! Not only that, but their smiles were so genuine and you can see the honest happiness in their eyes. Such a wonderful family and I loved them to pieces! I am so lucky to call some truly terrific families my clients. Enjoy your preview, Sam & Amanda...
Timeless, this one will be on my new site for sure!
A little Christmas cheer. I love how the trees in the background have already shed their leaves, It makes the image feel cold to me...brrrr.
Miss L had just lost those front teeth last night and she was proud of that adorable gap! As dad said, "she might just get those two front teeth for Christmas".
And obviously, very soon baby will make an even half dozen!

Parker is already 9 months old!

I can't believe it, Mr. Parker is only three short months away from his first birthday. He is just the cutest, cuddliest thing ever and though he wasn't in the mood for pics at first, my secret weapon, M, certainly helped him change his mind. I know I say it all the time, but they all just love her to pieces! We went with a winter and Christmas theme tonight if it's not obvious and we were sure not to forget his Longhorn attire! Enjoy your preview, Vanessa!

Sneak Peek for the S Family

Ok, you know that a session is going to be spectacular when dad comes in rolling a suitcase full of wardrobe changes...whooot! Jenni totally got me when I told her not to fear color and matched her family, not once but twice. So this was today's combo session and if you don't know what that is, then let this session be your guide. Make no mistake, it is a marathon session, but oh my goodness, I always have a blast getting to know my clients this way and in the end, some great images are born. It was wonderful to meet you all and I hope you had as much fun as I did!
Don't you love this one? He is putty in her hands!

Sneak Peek Miss Millie

She came back and is she just the poster child for all things Christmas or what? I could just hug and squeeze her all day long. Mom and dad are so easy going and relaxed, I have to say they are some of my favorite clients to date! Eat your heart out Mr. Grinch, here's Millie's Christmas session...

Sneak peek for the T family

This holiday season has been full of beautiful families and this family was the latest in that trend! Such wonderful people with gorgeous children, talk about hitting the genetic jackpot...wow! Sometimes 18 month-olds can be challenging, but this little man was a delight from start to finish! I just can't get enough of evening light and this is one of my absolute favorite places to capture it.
After we had wrung every last ray out of the sun, we went in studio for some classic formal portraits and once again, the camera just loved this photogenic bunch!
What a stunning girl and a complete natural in front of the camera Miss C was, I couldn't have asked for more.
Did I mention what a little sweetie Mr. B was?

Another beautiful bride

I owe another huge thank you to Ashtonwoods homes for the use of their gorgeous model home, the Tiffany located in the incredible burgeoning gated community of Treeline. I am being completely honest when I say that when we have discussed building a new home, Treeline is our top choice. Their sales people are so accommodating and friendly and the homes and lots simply perfect. Of course, Marissa totally increased the face value of these homes in her stunning gown and genuine playfulness. I have no doubt that Brad will be complete gobsmacked when he sees his future wife coming up the aisle to meet him looking like this. Lucky me, I will be there to see it and hopefully capture it through my lens! So meet Marissa, one of my very lovely December brides...
