Can you tell that I don't think there is anything sweeter than a newborn baby? Ten day old Emma was just so cuddly and sweet and strong too. It won't be long before she's up an running! But at least for today, after a quick feeding, rocking and sweet lullabies from her mommy, she was sleeping soundly for her very first photo shoot.

Sweet Mr. Liam was only 5 days old when we did his newborn pictures and he couldn't possibly have been an easier baby. He slept like a rock pretty much the entire session and let me do whatever I pleased. After you see the pictures, you'll agree. There isn't anything else I can say but I *big puffy heart* baby Liam.

Fall Babies

Please excuse my blog absence lately. With a child sick with something the doctor couldn't figure out and a hubby having knee surgery, the last several weeks have been a bit of a mess around here. The good news is that although I haven't been posting much, I have absolutely been shooting away! My first little fall princess is the darling Miss Peyton whom is showcased quite a bit on this blog. Unfortunately, we weren't able to get her adorable piggy costume, but we did succeed in getting great pics of her other Halloween wardrobe choices!
I can always count on Payton's mom to bring in tons of fabulous clothes!

Next up is little Miss Hayley in her hot chili pepper costume. She was completely enthralled by all the candy and I have no doubt that she will be a champion trick-or-treater when she sets a little bit older.

She absolutely looooves to play on her back.

A big thank-you to my fall moms were waiting so patiently for their sneak peeks and proofs but more for bringing your sweet little ones to see me so often. I love so much being able to watch them grow and change.

One Very Special Little Girl

I can't believe this little princess is more than a year old! It's been way too long since I've seen her and now she's about to be a big sister too. Wow! Audrey is such an amazing little girl with a terrific laugh and a spirit that takes your heart and runs away with it. I am truly honored to be trusted with capturing that spirit and I hope all my blog readers can see what love and mischief hide behind those baby blues. You are always in my heart, Audrey, right along with your mom and dad who love you so much.

One of my all-time favorite babies came to see me today for her one year pictures and it should be crystal clear why she is so precious to me. This kid is a-mazing in front of the camera and everything I dream up, she brings to life for me! So, happy birthday miss princess and I cannot wait to play with you and candy corn very, very soon!!

And oh my is he is strong little guy! We had to change our plans a little bit when he decided to show me how good he is at rolling over (and over and over) but that was ok because this baby boy was just happy pretty much no matter what we did with him as long as he could see his mom. I am looking forward to our next session in just three months from now!

Hayley holds her head up!

What a difference a week makes! Hayley's mom called about a week after her three month session to let me know that Hayley had developed super strength and was now holding her head up like a champ so of course I told her to bring her back by! We had lots of fun today and I was amazed by what a happy little camper she is.

Three beautiful little girls

These little ladies are another of my favorites and Mom has the best clothes for them! My girls absolutely adore them and hate it when they have to go, but with a three hour drive home to look forward to, leaving in enough time to beat traffic is a must. Still, I am so glad they are willing to come all that way for me.
It's clear where they get their good looks.

We tried with all we had to get the baby in on this pose but she would have none of it...bummer.

Mom was determined to get this shot and with the help of a short cat nap and M&Ms after a failed first attempt, her determination paid off the second time around.

Another newbie to love

One of my favorite clients brought me her brand new baby boy today and he was such a perfect little guy. I just couldn't wait to get her sneak peek up so as soon as they loaded up in the car, I got right to it. I am so excited to get to see them every three months for the next year.

My how time flies, I still vividly remember big brother's newborn pictures and now look at him!

Twice the fun

Oh my goodness, I had birthday twins this weekend and they were so stinking cute!! Mom brought the cutest little birthday outfits ever and let me tell you, the kids had a terrific time destroying them with frosting. Birthday boy, Junior, outlasted his sister in the cake department and I can only imagine what poor mom's night was like when they got home. I think the pictures were definitely worth it though. :)

Baby Hailey is 3 months old already!

I cannot believe how much Miss Hailey has grown! My goodness, she's like a totally different baby than I one I photographed just three months ago. One thing has not changed though, she is just as precious as ever. Since she's not quite holding her head up yet, we will be doing some more very soon but here are just a few from this afternoon. This first one is my absolute favorite and will definitely be printed for my office!
I don't know what it is about this one, but I just love it completely!

Baby Luke turns one!

Mr. Luke came in for his one year pictures as a part of his baby plan. Because all teenage girls travel in packs, my oldest daughter had two of her friends over and he had a harem of women at his disposal...lucky boy! They just loved him to pieces and I am fairly certain the feeling was mutual. Now that he is walking, keeping him in one place was not an east task but between the half dozen or so of us we were able to get some terrific shots. Sweet Baby Carter

This adorable little man came to see me today and I am fairly certain he was born to be in front of a camera! He was not a moment's trouble and all smiles right up until the end. But who could blame him, I get pretty cranky too when it's time for me to eat. I know Mom and Grandma are anxiously awaiting their sneak peek so say hello to another of my summer babies...

Olivia is 6 months old already!

I can't believe how quickly my baby planners grow up! Miss Olivia's six month session went smashingly well. As you can see, she was in a terrific mood with all smiles the whole time. Of course, like most babies who visit me regularly, she and M became best buddies; I only wish I had thought to snap a quick pic of the two of them. Next time for sure. I was already planning our nine month session before we were finished with this one! :)

I was so absolutely thrilled to have Miss Peyton back in the studio and she was just as adorable as ever! Mom has fabulous taste in clothes and I always look forward to picking through her duds. Sweet Little Sofia

It's been quite a while since I've posted, I know, but generally the months of May & June are consumed with the kids' end of school activities and swim team and this year was no exception in fact, it was probably worse! My hours are a bit sporadic during summer so there won't be as many sneak peeks as usual since I don't book many summer appointments other than baby planners. With that explanation made, i can now move on to showing you how much one of my favorite newborns has grown. Isn't she just a living doll? She's already crawling and ordering us all around at the tender age of 7 months, but with those big brown eyes, we were helpless to tell her no.

High School Senior Amanda

So to call this a "Sneak Peek" would be stretching it so we'll call it a "showcase" instead. If you can't tell by how many pics I posted, then let me be very clear, I had an absolute BLAST with this girl. She brought her bff and we took some fun shots of them together but you can see those on my personal blog here. Wanna know my favorite thing about this shoot other than Miss Amanda's gorgeous blue eyes? She wore her fabulous black pumps for the entire time. Girls, nothing gives you confidence like a great pair of pumps, don't leave home without 'em! :)

This little fella came to see me today for his newborn pictures and isn't just precious? Boy let me tell you he could eat! Lucky for us, he only had one accident although Dad may not have thought himself so lucky being the one he christened! I'm crossing my fingers that all that food produces one chunky baby planner, absolutely nothing is cuter than those baby rolls. Mom and Dad were so incredibly patient given the chaos of today and I am so appreciative. So without any more chatter, let's get to the important stuff...Introducing Mr. Andrew...

Oh boy, Mom and Dad are in trouble but as for me, my wheels are already turning with plans for her three months session. I had such a fantastic time shooting this young couple's engagement that I had to find any excuse to do it again and so since we literally had NO sunset this Saturday evening, I will get the chance! Whoo hoo! I just couldn't possibly narrow down the shots so I decided to post a bunch of 'em along with a little teaser for what's to come later on this week after phase two..hehe!

So this is the teaser. Even though I knew we couldn't officially shoot because the sun was pretty much gone and the sky was just a yucky blueish gray, I wanted to get a feel for what I had in mind and I must say, that I am stoked! This isn't near the quality of what I am planning, but oh boy is it gonna be fab-u-lous!

Baby Annette is a year old

We had a very full session this afternoon. It is so hard for me when my Baby Planners turn a year old and graduate. I know I won't be seeing them as often anymore and it just breaks my heart. This little princess is no exception, so full of personality and spunk. One of my few girls lately, and I will miss seeing Miss Annette every three months. Enjoy your preview, John & Emily, it was great to see you all again today (and again, congrats on the new car!).

A Different Kind of Wedding

This was supposed to be a back yard wedding and with all the rains and after the back yard flooded, it turned into a very cramped indoor wedding. Mercifully by the time the wedding was just about to begin, the rains stopped and things begin to dry outside though not near enough to have the ceremony outside, it was dry enough to take some pics. At least everyone took it in stride and enjoyed the evening...

Sneak Peek baby Chloe

Uhm so yeah, they just don't come ANY cuter than Miss Chloe. She was just a complete doll baby from start to finish and sooooo happy and smiley, oh wow there just aren't words. I am so blessed to have the best babies as clients (an no, I am not biased one little bit). I swear, I could photograph this little dumplin everyday and never get tired of that face. I cannot wait until she is sitting up...ooooh the possibilities! I truly enjoyed having her in the studio today and I sure hope mom and dad are watching the blog for their preview!
