Sneak Peek for Amy

I had to rescheduled this session from Tuesday until today because a) it was about 40 degrees and b) my house was in quarantine caused by the dreaded pink eye. After obsessively checking weather.com all week, I thought we were in the clear for this morning; party cloudy, comfortably warmer...bingo. Ugh, this is Houston and what you expect is NEVER what you get; fog as thick as pea soup all morning. So we ended up doing the majority of the shots inside but did manage to catch a quick couple out front. As luck would have it, about 15 minutes after they left (and little man C was tired of my camera), the clouds broke. Gotta love Houston! Here they are anyway, a terrific little family with the sweetest baby boy! This is for you, Amy.....ahhhhhhchooooo!

Pink

Me and my daughter played around a little bit tonight so I could use one of the terrific pettiskirts I have on loan. Isn't it cuuuuute? So all my moms with little girls, look out; this is just one of them!

Sneak Peek for Bridget

She warned me that these three fellas would be a handful and I would earn every penny with them. They were so not that bad! I don't know any guy who actually likes having their picture taken. All we had to do was keep reminding them that it is mom who writes the check to pay for their oldest son's car and they were no problem whatsoever! Thanks for being such good sports guys and enjoy your sneak peek, Bridget.

A couple faves before I go

I had my favorite baby boy in tonight and he couldn't be sweeter. I could just squeeeeeeeeze him! We couldn't get his head up for anything; for some reason, all my babies just love this soft fabric and want to eat it and scrunch it up. Maybe I should get something less comfy and cozy.....nah, I'm not that mean! Well, off to pack so I can hop a plane tomorrow morning , but here's your quick look, Holly, before I go!

Death in the family...

I am sad to report that we have had a death in my family this week and I will be gone for a few days to attend the memorial service and burial in New England. Thank you so much to my clients who have graciously allowed me to reschedule their sessions and to those who are waiting on proofs or orders. You have all been so incredibly understanding, patient and kind. I will be back to work Monday. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart.

Sneak Peek for Carrie & Courtney

A couple of heartbreakers rounded out my weekend. These two cousins hit the genetic jackpot with those amazing blue eyes and mischievous grins. This session was so easy, we were done in a flash even with three clothing changes! I adore moms who are on-the-ball and ready to roll with anything like these two were so thanks Carrie & Courtney and enjoy your first look!

Sneak Peek for Thuy

Here is the first of Sunday's sessions. With the hubby out of town and the kids gone, I thought I would get as much done this weekend as possible since the thought of going to church all by my lonesome was a bit too bleak. This family was terrific! Another mom and dad who love the natural and spontaneous as much as I do. Never ever be afraid to be who you are. Thanks, Thuy, and enjoy your sneak peek!

Sneak Peek A & B

For the first bit of this very busy weekend, I had the pleasure of these two very sweet young ladies come and see me this morning. The youngest is in my son's class and she is just a doll; full of spunk and charm. Her big sister is quite the beauty and such a terrific helper; I couldn't imagine doing it without her! Mom & dad couldn't have been easier to work with, such terrific people. I hope you girls enjoyed Build-A-Bear (you deserved it!) and enjoy your sneak peek, Michelle!

Think Pink

Kris Evans Photography is excited to announce a new partnership with Think Pink Photography. Founded in October 2007 by Ohio Photographer, Tennille King, Think Pink Photography strives to help breast cancer survivors and their families celebrate life with charitable photography sessions. Individuals may choose to document their fight against the disease before or during treatment, or prefer to capture their victory with a session after treatment is completed. Photographers world-wide are now available to donate time and talent to celebrate life and support the cause. There is no cost or obligation to the breast cancer patient.

Think Pink Photography is a non-profit organization. Any profits Think Pink Photography receives through donations or various fund raising efforts are donated to the Eric R. Beverly Family Foundation - a foundation dedicated to promoting education, increasing awareness, and providing support and assistance to families that have been touched by breast cancer.

Clients participating in a Think Pink Session will receive a complimentary photo session, as well as 20 finished prints from the session. They will also receive a discount off of any additional portraits they wish to purchase, although there is absolutely no purchase required at any time.

I am very proud to be one of the first photographers with Think Pink Photography, and am anxious to get the word out about this amazing program. For more information, you can contact me, or you can visit the Think Pink Photography website at:
