I wanted to wish every blog stalker, friend, family member and client alike a very merry Christmas and a happy new year! I will be closed for the holidays from tomorrow, Decemeber 23rd through Januay 6th though I will have limited hours the week after Christmas for those who still need to pick up portraits. This has been the busiest year so far and I have all of you to thank! Having been so busy, I never seemed to get around to taking those holiday portaits of my own kids until earlier this evening. So instead of holiday cards, how about a holiday post instead? So, MERRY CHRISTMAS from my brood!

Another newborn princess...
'Tis the season for beautiful baby girls and I just love them to pieces! This one was only 10 days old and as alert as she could be! She fought sleep as best she could, but she proved no match for my secret weapon and eventually gave up and snuggled herself to sleep. Not before we got some terrific images of she and her daddy, I get the feeling she's gonna be a daddy's girl all the way!
Sneak Peek Mr. & Mrs. Beierman
I had the pleasure of photographing this lovely couple's wedding this past weekend and I cannot get over how incredibly hospitable the clients I am blessed with are. These families were so welcoming and agreeable and Marissa even tried to calm my nerves with her champagne when my beloved favorite camera took a header out of the back of the car and bounced to it's death on the pavement. Since I have great insurance, I refused to let that little mishap get me down and went about the business of capturing this very special day. I truly feel these two are in it for the long haul and I wish them all the happiness life has to offer them. Enjoy your preview, Mrs. Beierman (and you too, Brad)!

Sneak Peek for the H family
This is almost the last of the holiday portraits. I have two more to go, one is my own family and the other is that of my best friend who has been waiting soooo patiently for me to be able to finish up my client list. It was terrific to end the holiday rush with this family. The "kids", Ruby & Rigley, were just so well behaved and understanding when we had to tie them to benches and whatnot to get some romantic shots of mom & dad. Enjoy your preview doctors...

Sneak Peek for the G Family
This was last night's session and it was part for Mr. B's 6th birthday and part family (though obviously they will need to be redone once little brother arrives). At first the little one was shy, shy but after about 30 minutes, he warmed up to me even if mother nature didn't. Poor baby, it was windy and cold but he was such a big boy, not a minute's trouble. I can't wait to do mom's full maternity session in a couple weeks! Enjoy your preview, Michelle, I know you've been waiting for it!!

Sneak Peek for the R Family
Well, I did it. I took almost all of the last four days off except for taking some time Saturday afternoon to photograph this lovely family though I didn't even look at the card until this evening. I think we have the nicest and most attractive people that attend my church and I love it when they come to me for their family portraits. I really enjoyed all of our chit chat while I shot and even got a genuine smile or two out of Michael (in between our conversations of course)! Enjoy your preview, Pam!

Thanksgiving Hours
Hello folks! I wanted to let everyone know that even I, the workaholic, will be taking some time off this week to celebrate Thanksgiving with the people I love. I will not be available either Thursday, November 27th or Friday, the 28th but will be back to regular business hours beginning again on Monday, December 1st. As much as it pains me, I will not have access to e-mail and my family has made me promise to leave my phone off too. Thank goodness it's only for a couple days, right? I wish everyone a safe and happy Thanksgiving.

Sneak Peek for the R Family
If I could bottle them up, I could live forever. This family was awesome! Most of the time kids aren't really all that into having their pictures taken, but these three were arguing over who would go first! Not only that, but their smiles were so genuine and you can see the honest happiness in their eyes. Such a wonderful family and I loved them to pieces! I am so lucky to call some truly terrific families my clients. Enjoy your preview, Sam & Amanda...
Timeless, this one will be on my new site for sure!
