The rehearsal...
I always make it a priority whenever possible to attend the rehearsals of my wedding couples. It helps me break the ice with the families of the bride and groom and clear up any questions with the officiate. Sometimes, I even shoot the festivities and include the extra images as a gift. The groom's family was kind enough to include us and my son (wow!) in their rehearsal and dinner. Thank you, Medford family & Kelly, you are an amazingly hospitable family so here are some bonus images from the rehearsal.

Beautiful Bride

I don't know what it is about the image, but I just love it. This is Melissa and she is another of my beautiful October brides. Not too much of her dress so as not to ruin the big moment which is only a few short weeks away.

Sneak Peek Sandy

Oh my, where do I start? I have known this young man since he was about 12 years old and now he is 20 and has finished Navy boot camp. It's hard for me to really grasp where all that time has gone. He will be leaving soon for his base in Japan and I had the honor of shooting some of his military pictures as well as some of him with his family and girlfriend. In other news, since shooting these just a few days ago, his girlfriend has become his fiance'...Congratulations, Sandy & Erin! Anyway, I have only begun to process these, but here is a quick first glance!

Sneak Peek Kelly & Matt

These two were the most fun to shoot! Matt is Air Force and Kelly is his lovely bride-to-be and we drove out to a fabulous vineyard to take these shots. Locations are terrific, but I have to say that folks like this make my job so easy. Well, here are a few for you guys to get a peek at but my favorites are yet to come!

I was *tagged* by a colleague and a friend, Shellie Benson (www.shelliebenson.blogspot.com), and I have been putting this off for several days because I was waist-high in birthday preparations! So for my clients and friends, here are some things you may not know about me..

1.) I am a terrible procrastinator and always wait until the last minute to get anything done (like waiting four days to post this)!

2.) I don't really have a sweet tooth. I have no problem passing on desert, especially cake.

3.) I am married to my best friend and he can still make me feel like the only woman in the room.

4.) I make my bed everyday except for Sunday (we are usually crazy people running around getting ready for church on Sunday mornings).

5.) My least favorite household chores are folding socks & emptying the dishwasher and I will put them off for as long as I possibly can.

6.) The two people I consider my parents and mean the world to me are of no blood relation.

7.) I have a black thumb and kill all plants, indoors and out.

8.) My desk is a collosal mess and I can never find anything on it.
