Mr. & Mrs. Eubanks

I am just now getting to post this quick peek from a wedding I shot this past Saturday for a terrific couple who just happened to be my little baby Annette's aunt and uncle. With weather that was 95 degrees in the shade, this bride and groom along with their entire wedding party were such troopers! Since the venue was a golf course, there was of course no shade to be found so we loaded everyone up in cars and drove to the back of a Walgreens (yes, you read that right) for the formal shots before the wedding! I have more than enough for this sneak peek just from the first memory card I have looked at! I hope you all had as much fun as I did and I hope you enjoy this little teaser and know there will be many many more terrific images to follow!

With a broken toe and bronchitis, there is no way I could have pulled off any of these images without the fabulous assistance of Travis & Christie who were so incredibly solid...so thank you both so very much!!

Graduate

My blog began with this baby planner's newborn pictures and I cannot believe that was a year ago now! He is such a big boy now with his own little personality and such a happy grin that just melts my heart. I don't know what I'll do now that I won't be seeing you every three months. Guess mom and dad will just have to get busy on making you a big brother! In any case, Happy Birthday, Mr. C!

Baby Love...

Another beautiful maternity today. I only wish I looked this good when I was carrying my kiddos. This couple was great fun and had wonderful chemistry together. If you can't see the absolute adoration between them, than you really need to have your heart checked! I cannot wait to meet Mr. Dallas Jr. when he makes his arrival, but I did get to see his 3D ultrasound pic and he's definitely gonna be a heartbreaker.

Baby Annette

I just love, love, love this baby girl!! She is three months old today and just as prefect as when she was a newborn, only bigger. Look at how strong she is, holding her head up like a big girl. Her little personality comes right out of those big beautiful blue eyes! Enjoy the preview, mom and dad! It was hard not to proof them all this evening!

I hope this isn't a commentary on the college her parents have chosen for her!

Sneak Peek for Melissa

If your name is Will Eubanks, do not look any further. Close this window immediately! Ok, now that we have avoided disaster...This is my July bride and isn't she stunning? We went to a beautiful Methodist church in downtown Houston to shoot these. Melissa brought her matron of honor with her who was so incredibly helpful. She held my flash, and a giant reflector and even carried my step stool for me. I don't know how I would've done it without her! I really love how they came out and I can't believe her wedding is at the end of this month. The reception and ceremony will be held at a country club that apparently has some really cool amenities so I can't wait to see those! Enjoy your preview!

Office Hours

Hi folks! I am trying to find a balance for my family and lately I have gotten so busy that they see me less and less. In the hours that I am here, too many are spent working and not with them. I wanted to make sure that everyone knows my office hours and that I am going to be very strict about keeping them especially during the summertime.
Mon.-Thurs. 10am-4pm
Fri. & Sat. By appointment only
Closed Sundays
Even though I may schedule your session later in the day or on rare occasions on Sundays, I do not have regular office hours at that time meaning that I will not be taking calls after 4pm. On a side note, if you have my home phone number as some of you do, please only use it to speak with Kris your friend and not Kris the photographer. I will not book nor discuss sessions of any kind on my home line. Of course, you can e-mail me any time at kris@krisevans.com which I actually prefer as it is so much earier to keep up with!

Balance, balance, balance...that is the name of the game! I know that I have the greatest clients in the world and that you will all totally understand!

Independence Day, Steve & Meloney

It was my very great pleasure to photograph this lovely couple whom I have known for quite some time this afternoon. For them, this is an Independence Day of a different sort, they are starting a new church in Conroe, Church 1012. I couldn't be more excited for them, I know that God has called Steve for a long time and the time has come for him to break free and declare his independence! I have absolutely no doubt that theirs will be a blessed and fruitful path (feel free to read between the lines there)! Buy the way you two, I will be back and we will use that (in the words of my youngest) wicked cool location!

So this isn't really a "sneak peek" since I really couldn't narrow them down to my favorites, but I know you will all love them as much as I do! Don't forget to leave some comments of well wishes on their new direction, show them some blog love!!

Awe, such a happy little family! One of these days (when God deems it the right time), I will photograph the little one with only two legs and no tail!
