Sneak Peek Baby Blake

Today ended on high note though when Mr. B came in for his 6 month session. He has gotten so big and I am always amazed at how strong he is too. Mom brought some fantastic outfits to chose from (I am such a sucker for anything with a hat or cap) and he hammed it up like a pro the whole shoot. Enjoy your preview, Nikki!

They make a beautiful family, don't they?

That's all from me today, I am pooped from an exhausting week. I hope everyone has a very relaxing Labor day!

Sneak Peek Baby Phoebe

Poor little Miss P was not feeling her usual self today and mom & I think she may have been starting to teeth which is no fun for little ones. Even though she was just not up for pics and we decided to reschedule for another day, we still managed to get a few shots in of this sweet, sweet baby girl.

Lola thought she was pretty cute too, finally someone closer to her size!

Sneak Peek for Marci

If your name is Ricky Boze, do not look any further! You promised! Ok, Marci, I know I told you this evening that I probably wouldn't have these ready until tomorrow but I just couldn't help myself! And I have to say that I these came out exactly as I pictured and having you as by beautiful bride brought it up about ten notches. I really hope you like these even half as much as I do! Ricky is one lucky guy and I absolutely can not wait for your wedding in September. Enjoy your preview!!

This one was more for grins & giggles because as stunning as Marci is, she is equally as playful and fun!

Oh and before I forget, I have to give props to my friend Mandy who came with me tonight to help and I so appreciate everything she did. Thanks, Mandy!!

Sneak peek baby Parker

Oh my goodness, is he the cutest or what? As much as I adore all my baby planners, it hurts a little more every time they come in and I see how big they are getting! I cannot believe Mr. P is already 6 months old, half a year, that's crazy! He is such a sweet little guy, all smiles and giggles but let me tell you, he knows what he wants too. When he was finished with a particular pose, he was not shy about letting me know and I have to appreciate someone who tells you when they are ready to move on to something new. Enjoy your sneak peek, Vanessa!

Almost let the UT-themed pic slip by and we can't have that! Thanks, Vanessa for not letting me forget it this time.

Sneak Peek Angela & Shawn

When I said I was back, I wasn't kidding. This was my second session today and this couple is getting married in January in Waco and the groom is a professional fiddler, how cool is that? Besides having a nifty career, these two were an absolute blast to shoot! I was filthy and soaking wet by the time we were finished so you know I couldn't have possibly enjoyed myself more! Believe me, narrowing these down for a sneak peek was not easy, but here are just a few that struck my fancy!

Ok, so these two are my absolute favorites of the afternoon! I have no problem shooting in the rain (as long as there's no lightning) especially when my clients enjoy it this much!

Mementos...

Sneak Peek for Laurie

I am back from "vacation" if you will and back in the saddle this morning with another beautiful maternity! I love sitting and chatting with my client's and learning their stories and Laurie's just had God's fingerprints all over it. I know this is the child she has so long prayed for and I can't wait to meet her sweet baby girl in just a few days really. Can you believe she is due in just over a WEEK? Wow. Enjoy your preview, Laurie and by the time your gallery is ready, Miss Kara will most likely have already made her debut!

Sneak Peek Baby Kellen

His mom and dad came in for mom's maternity pictures about six weeks ago and I was so excited when mom called to let me know he was here and they wanted to schedule his newborn session. Already six days old and what a total sweetheart! He took a little while to settle in and get so sleep but once he did it was pure joy the whole time. Enjoy your preview E'dwina & Kimothy, he is just precious!

Sneak Peek for Amy

So it hadn't rained here in like a month, right? First rule of outdoor photography, always, always, always check the weather. Of course, given the weather of late, I didn't even bother with it. Well, we were at a neighbor's house meeting their newest family member (see personal blog for more details) and I look out their kitchen window and think, "hmmm, those clouds don't look so friendly." The next thing you know, the wind is picking up and whoosh, a down pour. Great. I was so looking forward to this shoot, the bride's mom invited my whole family out for a swim and Jambalaya while we worked. (Yes, I LOVE my clients). I call over to where they are which is much further north (about 45 minutes) to see how the weather was there. The storm had almost passed her and she was seeing a hint of blues skies so we pack up and head out anyway. After the kids make themselves right at home (ugh), Amy is ready to roll and not five minutes after pulling out of their driveway to head to our first destination, my hubby is on my phone. All I can think is, "OH NO, what have my kids done?" He tells me to look out my sunroof and tell him if I noticed those large black clouds heading our way. Ack! We persevere and start to shoot, every mindful to watch for lightning (I love to shoot in the rain, but no lightning please). We decided that the only real important shots are for the save-the-date cards and do a quick change and grab Lola (the bulldog). Once at the golf course, we only get about 15 minutes before lightning lights up the sky. Note to self, ALWAYS CHECK THE WEATHER! The good news is that we will reschedule the fun stuff for cooler (and drier) weather in September. More to the point, here ladies is your sneak peek and thanks so much for your amazing hospitality!
